Quarrel leads to Rogers Park slaying

CHICAGO - An Edgewater man was shot to death early Thursday after a quarrel in a Rogers Park apartment, Chicago police said.

One of several men involved in the quarrel left the apartment in the 6900 block of

North Ridge Boulevard
and returned with a handgun, police said.

Officers found the man about 3:45 a.m. Thursday with a bullet wound to the head.

 

 

 

Narad Gonzalez, 34, of the 6000 block of

North Sheridan Road
was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston , where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police said they had no suspects in custody. They said they believe that Gonzalez was a member of the
Latin Kings street
gang, but the motive for the shooting had not been determined.
